To Whom It May Concern,

I’d like to introduce you to EcoBalance Canada. We provide Calgary businesses the opportunity to balance-out your company’s carbon imprint on the planet. We are currently working on two large-scale tree planting projects in Alberta and British Columbia which allow organizations the opportunity to balance their carbon emissions on a day-to-day basis.

We offer a variety of packages and invite you to view them on our website. We also offer a custom EcoBalance package which allows you to calculate your overall carbon emissions and thereby determine the number of trees your company needs to plant to become EcoBalanced.

Here’s what we’re going to do for you — with all of these packages, we will provide you with a link to your site under our sponsorship page as well as the rights to our logos and trademarks to display on your marketing materials.

We thank you for taking the time to review this opportunity and look forward to discussing your involvement with EcoBalance further in the near future.

All The Best,

@Lynn - definitely working on it! Although even if the mortgage is paid off, there's still expenses to meet, so full time retirement will take a bit more effort still. But the plan is in action.

@ Phronk - yep, not paranoid, but grossed out. Personal hygiene ranks pretty highly on my list, and nothing disturbs me more than spreading your crotch fluids to all and sundry.
I loved the comic too, deeply, and they're right - Huxley wins this one hands down. Thanks for stopping by! In case someone's wondering what the heck we're talking about, here's the link to the awesome comic in question: http://www.viewpic.org/t7pz6f

I'm not too paranoid about germs, but it really does weird me out when guys (and girls too apparently) just walk out of a WASHroom without washing their hands. Especially at a bar (where I see it most often) - a social place, where you probably want to make a good impression on other people. Having hands covered in poo doesn't accomplish that very well.

P.S. That comic you commented on my blog is awesome!

There are real reasons why I never shake hands. Especially with men.

(Pay off that mortgage, give 2 weeks notice, and get on with your life!)

@Brown-Eyed Girl - lol - I do exactly that now! Smart companies are placing garbage cans strategically behind doors, and the ones that haven't caught on are picking up piles. :)

@ WR - I don't know. That's all there is to it.

@ Teena - I'll gladly be the office etiquette police. Judge, jury and executioner rolled into one.

I don't like to touch ANY thing in public washrooms after washing my hands. Not even the taps to shut off the water because obviously they were turned ON with germy hands. I'm no germaphobe but really, I don't need anyone's uriney vajayjay germs picked up on my clean hands. I use paper towel to shut off taps and open the door to leave. I know I'm not the only one because I see the big pile of paper towels behind the door all the time.

I hear ya... I'm especially annoyed by people who lick their fingers and touch papers or magazines or whatever. It drives me batty. And I can't for the life of me understand why people don't wash their hands after they go to the bathroom. Why on earth would anyone want to walk out of a bathroom (especially a public one that so many other germ-infested people have used) with dirty hands that will touch their face, their food, etc? [shakes head]
